1. Go to the City of West Sacramento's Customer Portal

2. Click on "Need to Set Up an Account". 

3. Enter the email address you would like to use, and our system will send you an email with a link to create your account. You will then be redirected to the City of West Sacramento's portal page where you can sign in.

4. Once redirected, enter your Utility Bill Account Number and the Security Token. These can be found in the upper right-hand corner of your utility bill.

5. Enter your cell phone for text messages. This is optional.

6. Create a password. 

7. Choose your preferred language. Choose either English or Spanish.

8. Then click submit to create your account.

Please Note: some customer meters are not yet equipped for this service. If you create an account and do not see any information, please call Utility Billing at 916-617-4589.

This is the main page, which provides a summary of your billing and usage.

This page shows your water consumption.

You can choose, last 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 12 months, or a specific period. This page also shows the average weather temperatures.

This page shows how much water was used today or what was billed in the last billing period.

These alerts will either email or text you when your consumption exceeds the limits set. You can set up alerts for Billing Cycle, Daily Use, Multi-Day, and Vacation.

This is where you can add or edit the email or text to be alerted.

Update your contact information, change your password, or add additional utility billing accounts to monitor.

Click on “Manage accounts” to add any additional account if you have them. This is good for the customer who may own multiple properties and wish to monitor their tenant’s water usage.
